Fall is here.

The last half of August has flown by.  Belinda is 4.5 months old now and gaining more personality each and every day.  She is very vocal and lets you know what she wants.

On August 20, 2010 Belinda turned 4 months old.  On the same day her father, Brad, turned 40!  Belinda got her 2nd tooth on this day as well, but it didn't seem to bother her nearly as much as the first tooth. Here she is posing with her monkey model friend.

After her 4 month doctor appointment, Belinda got the OK to start eating rice cereal.  She ate it all.  After a few days she got annoyed that she wasn't getting enough, so we've already upped the amount to satisfy her belly.

Grandma Cheryl brought Belinda some fun clothes from Okinawa.  Here she is wearing her "Mama Mia" pants.  Brad thinks she should be performing "Dancing Queen" when she wears these pants.

Belinda's neck is getting stronger.   She now sits in her bumbo and looks like a little girl.  She tries to sit up when she's in her car seat and doesn't like learning back too much.  She wants to show off her strength.

On Saturday September 4 we went to our first drive-in movie.  The weather changed and we had to bundle up.  Belinda isn't too fond of hats, but she likes the cool breeze.  She was a bit sad at the beginning of the evening, but once it got dark she just faded away and slept in our arms as we watched "Despicable Me."  We'll definitely go to another drive-in movie.

Today, Sunday, September 5, we went tomato picking.  Belinda was very tired after all her hard work.

Summer is not officially over until the first day of fall, but the weather has changed.  We are looking forward to bundling up and taking some fun walks.  Belinda will hear the leaves crinkle and smell the delicious apple cider.  Each moment of the year is a joy when you see it through the eyes of a child.
