Merry Christmas!

Melody is getting older which causes her sister to interact with her more  Belinda loves greeting her sister in the mornings.

We celebrated Christmas with the Felbers early  Melody just enjoyed watching the action.

Belinda's favorite gift was a hand-me-down dollhouse from Isabelle.  She plays and plays and plays with her Happy Family.

We spent Christmas in Chippewa Falls at Lindsey and Andrew's cabin.  The cousins really enjoyed hanging out with each other.  Eddies favorite books was Peef - because it has 2 E's in it.

One of Belinda's favorite tricks in wearing her shirt as hair.  She thought it was pretty silly when Melody did the same thing.

Merry Christmas from the cousins! Tim, Eddie, Melody and Belinda.

They even got some time in outside.

Belinda and Eddie on the teeter totter was pretty funny.

I hope your holiday season was as fun as ours was.  Happy New Year to you!

Christmas Fun!

We live very close to a neighborhood that has 9 blocks or more of lit houses.  In December the weather has been mild, so we've made 3 visits to look at the lights.  One night we got out and walked around.  It was fun to look at everything up close.

We found Belinda's headbands and decided to try them on Melody.  Of course Belinda had to join in.

Melody was a lot happier by herself.  This little girl is such a smiler.  She seems to love every one.

Success with Santa this year.  Belinda even sat on his lap by the end of the evening. She kept saying, "Santa's house. Santa's house."  Now Belinda thinks Santa lives at Orange Leaf the frozen yogurt place.  It was extremely nice of Orange Leaf to bring Santa to the shop.  We contributed three Toys for Tots and got some cute photos.

We're having a fun December.  It has been pretty mild, but supposedly snow is on its way tomorrow. We're keeping our fingers crossed.  Belinda wants to make her own Frosty.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Happy December!

December is here!  We're wet, but not white.  Belinda loves Frosty this year, so I hope we get snow sometime and are able to create our own masterpiece.

We've made it through our first official at-home week.  It was fun.  There is a lot to keep us busy in December.  Let me share some photos with you.

Baby Melody loves the Christmas lights.

Melody is learning how to sit in her Bumbo chair.

We all like to read together.

We went to the Swiss Turner Hall for open gym.  Belinda loved Gabby Douglas this summer when we watched the Olympics, so she was very excited to be in a real gym where she can learn how to go "upside down."

They love to read together.

Belinda liked helping me bake.  Especially when I gave her materials to work with.

She helped make the thumbprints and put the cherries on top.  What a good little helper.

It seems like Belinda has gotten so much older these past few weeks.  We can have conversations and she loves to help in anyway possible.  Melody is just enjoying being a baby.   I'm sure she'll have plenty to say soon enough..

Happy Thanksgiving!

It's hard to believe that four quick months have passed since Melody was born.  We celebrated Thanksgiving on Thursday with the Milwaukee Felbers.  It was fun for me to be a hostess - I learned a lot from Thankgsivings in King City, California.  We had a nice meal and it was fun to visit afterwards.

In other news: I quit my job as a Intervention teacher.  I plan on staying home with the girls.  I'm excited that next week, December 3, 2012, I'll be able to spend as much time as I want and more with the lovely ladies of the house.  That means I'll have much more time to post on this blog.  Right?

Here are a few photos to make you smile.

Belinda is getting Melody used to reading books.

Melody loves to share smiles with us.

Belinda has to feed her baby when I nurse Melody.

Melody helped me celebrate being 40 years young.  Many others joined in the celebration as well.  It was a fun party at Organ Piper Pizza with my parents, the St. Paul Farwells, Grandma Sandy, Alina, the Kalumbulas, the Moultons, Bridge and Drew, Katie S, the Milwaukee Farwells and our Chinese friend Yu with her roommate.

Melody really looks like a doll.  Her uncle Scott called this photo - Russian Stacking babies.

Enjoy the blessings of December!

Welcome Baby Melody!

Melody Bailey Felber joined our family on Grandpa Bill's birthday - July 23, 2012.  She was 7lbs 3 oz and 20 inches long.  So far she's been a sleeping angel.  Belinda is excited to have a new sister.  The first words out of her mouth each morning are, "Melody?"  When Melody cries, Belinda shouts, "Melody's awake!"  Big sister is going to be a good helper, she already helps by putting diapers in the garbage for Mom.

We're very excited to be a family of four.

Hi my faithful readers.

I have received a few requests to post a few recent photos of Belinda, so here they are.  You're welcome to that special lady in Brainerd who keeps checking this blog.

Belinda loves baths!

 Sheer joy!

Ball pit in the living room.

She's still learning how to drink!

She thought she was tiny enough to go down this little slide.

Enjoy!
